I have decided that although my portfolio is coming together, I need more practice making quick sketches if I am going to be able to sell a concept to a client. I was sick at work on Thursday so I wanted to explore the idea of "sick". I guess I would have preferred to be at home.
The first installment of "Owen" is online! This is my first attempt at a comic, so I'm really looking forward to your feedback. It's based on actual events and I think it's a story worth telling. Click here to see the comic online. If you aren't worried about ruining the end of the story...Click here for up-to-date information about the real Owen. P.S. I would love the help of a writer or an editor for the rest of the story.

This is the cover art I did for a "zine" that was published this year. It contains a collection of illustrated short stories. Including a comic by me! Oh, and just in case it's bothering you, the title "zygote" is intentionally misspelled. It's a play on words... or something.
I recently received a phone call from a guy I haven't talked to in ten years. We were best friends from like... 5th grade through High School. Coincidentally my mom found this old drawing I did of him. I must have been 13 or 14 at the time. Anyway I thought it was kinda funny. Check out the shading... nice...
