Sorry I haven't posted much. I've been working on the portfolio on my Flash page.
And, after a ridiculous amount of sloppy code writing on my part, I finally have a working model! Check it out. paris.raupach.com You will need Flash to see it. (I'm working on a html version too.) I still have a couple more details to finish, (like adding instructions), but I'd love your feedback on the interface. It looks like my comments system might be down, so please feel free to send your comments in an email. paris@raupach.com
This is another sketch I did on my brake at work. He's loosly based on my coworker Herbert.
On another note it has been brought to my attention that some people can't access images that I've posted through flickr. (Particularly those who work for government agencies) Anyway... I'm working on a solution to the problem.
This is a character I've developed for a comic book. I've written the first part and received some pretty good feedback. I'm not sure if I should post the story because I'm thinking about shopping it around to some publishers. I tempted to put the first chapter up as a teaser so I can get feedback from you guys. Who knows... maybe I'll post each episode as I finish it... maybe I can self publish it online like that. What do you think? Anyone out there have any experience with this kind of thing?
This is my contribution to an alphabet book called "Alphillustratioins". Everyone in my class contributed two letters. Considering we don't expect any child to ever read this book, we were free to have some fun with our word examples.
While driving through the Napa valley recently, I was looking at the beautiful wineries and hillside homes. In the vineyards you could see the workers picking grapes. I started wondering where all the workers lived. I found this extreme wealth contradiction interesting so I put together this maquette of a possible mural addressing the subject.
