HAPPY HALLOWEEN You never know who will come knocking. I used colored pencils for the kid and PhotoShop for his costume. I wanted to give it that plastic look like the ones they sell in the super market.
Money burns II. Same drawing as before. I've added color with pencils and Photoshop. I think the finished look is pretty dramatic.
I'm a still nervous about paying for school but, the excitement is making up for it. I'm really looking foreword to going back to school. I feel like I’m doing the right thing.
Woo Hoo! cough choke so I just got off the phone with CCA, and...
I'VE BEEN ACCEPTED INTO THE ILLUSTRATION PROGRAM! ack... *nervous* oh my god oh my god oh my god omg omg omg ...
Money burns. (A work in progress.) What is this stuff? Why do I want it when I don't have it and want to get rid of it when I do? I know that happiness is what really matters, but I don't think it would hurt all that much to be filthy stinking rich as well.
I'll probably re-post this image once I've hit it with some colored pencils.
This is how cool I wish I was. Of course I would still want to have a left and a right hand rather than two rights, but maybe nobody would notice...
I drew this while waiting in the cell phone store to trade in my old cell phone charger for a new one. Apparently when sprint replaces a broken cell phone they will mail you a new one but make you go into the store in person to trade in your battery charger. After 45 minutes of waiting, and no help, I had to leave with my old busted cell phone, old charger, and a new replacement phone with a dead battery... I can't wait till next month when we can carry our cell numbers with us when we switch providers.
I was testing out two new markers on this drawing. The Chartpak COOL GRAY #5 and #3. I'm not sure I like them... the color is good and it flows well... maybe too well. The ink tends to bleed a little too much. That plus the tip design make small details difficult. I'll give them another shot and see if I can get the hang of them.
Here are the new tables. I still need to work out the style sheets for the text, but you can get the basic idea. Besides... I still need to learn how to make style sheets...
This is the first stage of my site redesign... I had a cool table built to hold my blog entries but for some reason blogger doesn't like it. I managed to keep Ernie up till 1:30 trying to wade through my code to find the problem but no luck. I'll probably have to start over... tomorrow... it's late now... sleepy.... Anyway I hope you like the new title/nav bar.
When I count to three you awake feeling refreshed and relaxed... I am continually amazed how the current administration expects the public to believe whatever they say just because they say it... whether they have any evidence or not. It's disturbing to me that those who present evidence contradicting the rare and rhetorical information that comes out of the white house are called unpatriotic, negative or have their familys threatened. I'm just saying the Bush administration better improve their PR or they will loose all thier support. The U.S. public and the world communities will only be mesmerized by "Shock and Awe" for so long.
yeah! i voted... to bad everyone else did too... This is a really quick sketch I did while the votes were coming in. I would like to point out to all the Californians reading this post... Arnold Schwarzenegger is now our governor... Arnold Schwarzenegger....
Arnold...
Schwarzenegger...
The rest of the world may now collectively slap their foreheads in disbelief.
YEAH! I VOTED! In this photo I'm feeling a little better having voted... I don't know what the outcome will be, but I voted for the guy I really wanted (even though I knew he wouldn't win). At this point I'm still basking in the civic afterglow.
Nothing political I have been having trouble thinking of things to draw lately. I'm worn out from all the political nonsense I've been seeing, so I decided just to focus on line quality and feeling rather than any particular message. I decided to just sit down and draw...This is what I came up with... I'm pretty happy with it...
New Light Sorry for the sporadic posting... CCA's priority aplication deadline was this week... plus trouble with my internet connection. I should be back on schedule soon.
It's a tribute to all teachers, but it was inspired by a particular teacher of mine. She helped me to find the simple answers to my worries.
